Important changes to LION from 2nd June 2014 (04 . 06 . 2014)
On 2nd June 2014, ProQuest will deploy Phase 2 of the new LION. This will result in a number of changes to New LION that will benefit administrators behind-the-scenes as well as streamline the research process for end-users. Summary of key changes:
- Authentication: All authentication methods are now synchronised with the ProQuest platform.
- Customisation: All customisation options (such as library branding) can now be administered via the ProQuest Administrator Module (PAM).
- Usage Logging: All usage logging is now logged in the same place as the ProQuest platform, which will allow combined reporting in PAM.
- Interoperability: Your LION subscription will be listed on the ProQuest platform, and users can link from there to LION without having to re-enter their authentication details.
