EBSCO Apps and Cloud Services (18 . 09 . 2015)
EBSCO are pleased to announce that their online catalog of apps is now available for EBSCOhost! You can now further enhance your research database user experience on the EBSCOhost platform by choosing from a rich catalog of apps.
How does it work? Visit the EBSCO Apps and Cloud Services site to browse and select apps. When browsing apps, just select your desired platform - EBSCO Discovery Service or EBSCOhost - from the drop-down menu on the page.
How are apps implemented and supported? Upon checkout, you can request the code for your apps, and implement and maintain your apps without additional assistance from EBSCO's Customer Support team. Or, you can request that EBSCO implements and manages your apps in the EBSCO cloud by subscribing to EBSCO Cloud Services. EBSCO Cloud Services include consultation and implementation, as well as hosting of your apps in the EBSCO cloud. In addition, ongoing support, maintenance and enhancements are provided by EBSCO's Customer Support team. With EBSCO's Cloud Services, all apps are fully multi-tenant so libraries automatically receive updates to their apps.
