    IReL funding provides access to the following Web of Knowledge resources: Journal Citation Reports, Essential Science Indicators,Derwent Innovations Index - CANCELLED for 2010 and Biosis Previews - CANCELLEDfor 2010. Access to Endnote Web is also included. Derwent Innovations Index, Biosis Previews and Web of Knowledge ISI proceedings are no longer available through IReL.   • Westlaw IE Core Collection

    Irish legal materials database; contains Irish reported and unreported case law, consolidated/annotated legislation, and legal journals. Also offers a current awareness service providing updates on recent developments in Irish law.

  • Westlaw UK

    Law of the United States, United Kingdom, European Union and other jurisdictions. Includes journal articles, case law and legislation. Includes CELEX database of EU legislation and case law.

  • Wiley Current Protocols CANCELLED (end of 2011)

    Current Protocols contains the largest collection of authoritative, peer-reviewed, regularly-updated research methods and topical overviews available. With over 10,000 protocols spanning the life sciences, Current Protocols is the leading source of high-quality protocols for every life sciences laboratory. This resource is no longer subscribed by IReL. Please check your library's catalogue for local holdings.

  • Wiley Journals Database

    Introduced in 1997, Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com) is a leading international resource for scientific, technical, medical and scholarly content. In June 2008, Wiley InterScience incorporated the online content formerly hosted on Blackwell Synergy to provide access to over 3 million articles across 1500 journals. From 2016, IReL will have access to all journals published by Wiley.

  • Wiley Reference Works - CANCELLED (end of 2009)

    Wiley InterScience's expanding collection of Reference Works deliver unimpeded access to multi-volume encyclopedias, handbooks and dictionaries within every category of scientific, technical and medical endeavor. Precision searching and cross-reference linking provide ample pathways to explore exhaustive reserve of knowledge. This resource is no longer available through IReL.   • Wilson OmniFile

    OmniFile Full Text, Mega EditionTM from Ebsco (formerly published by H.W. Wilson) contains a wealth of essential material for learning and detailed research in a single, easily-searched database. With the full text of articles from almost 2,500 publications, and indexing and abstracts from nearly 3,600 publications, this database provides invaluable support for research in all core undergraduate subjects and for cross-disciplinary work.

  • Women Writers Online

    The Brown University Women Writers Project is a long-term research project devoted to early modern women's writing and electronic text encoding. Their aim is to bring texts by pre-Victorian women writers out of the archive and make them accessible to a wide audience of teachers, students, scholars, and the general reader. They support research on women's writing, text encoding, and the role of electronic texts in teaching and scholarship. Women Writers Online is a full collection of Women Writers Project texts currently available online, covering a period from 1400 to 1850. This collection includes the texts, all of which can be browsed, searched, and analysed using tools which provide access to the full SGML encoding.

  • World Development Indicators Online

    World Development Indicators Online, published by the World Bank, is a comprehensive database of development information covering more than 575 indicators, 225 countries, and 18 regional and income groups. The extensive collection includes data on population, income, social, economic, financial, natural resources and environmental indicators from 1960 onwards. As of July 1st, 2010 this resource is freely accessible. Please go to: http://data.worldbank.org/ to view the new portal.

  • WorldSciNet - CANCELLED (end of 2009)

    A fulltext resource that includes 24 peer-reviewed mathematics journals from World Scientific Publishing. This resource is no longer available through IReL. Please check your library's catalogue for local holdings.

  • Worldwide Political Science Abstracts

    CSA Worldwide Political Science Abstracts provides citations, abstracts, and indexing of the international serials literature in political science and its complementary fields, including international relations, law, and public administration / policy. The database is building on the merged backfiles of Political Science Abstracts, published by IFI / Plenum, 1975-2000, and ABC POL SCI, published by ABC-CLIO, 1984-2000. Since 2000, development of the serials list has focused on expanding international coverage. As of November 2005 approximately 1,500+ titles are being monitored for coverage; of these, 67% are published outside the United States.
